Your name and email address when you request access, and the profile details you choose to add later: career stage, what you are working on, institution, country, specialty, and goals. That is the whole list.
AskDimitri does not store your chats on its servers, and they are not accessible to Dr. Magouliotis or to any current or future collaborator, partner, or institution. Your conversation lives only in your browser during your session. Message content, including any CV or document text you share, is processed in transit by Anthropic (the AI provider) solely to generate responses, under Anthropic's data policies, and is never written to our database.
Your email delivers Dimitri's Letters and signs you in to the dashboard. Your profile shapes the letters and advice you receive. We do not sell your personal data.
To operate the platform we use a small number of service providers, each receiving only what its job requires: Supabase for sign-in, database, and file storage; Netlify for hosting and the functions that run the site; Brevo for newsletter delivery and contact details; and Anthropic for generating assistant responses.
AskDimitri is a personal platform owned by Dr. Dimitrios Magouliotis. Your data is not owned by or shared with any institutional employer.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or institutional partnership, you will be notified by email no less than 30 days in advance and given the option to opt out before any data transfer occurs.
You can unsubscribe from the letters at any time using the link in any issue; unsubscribing also pauses your access to the assistant. You can delete your account entirely from the dashboard's Account tab, which immediately and permanently erases your membership, profile, questions, and newsletter subscription. For anything else, email dimitri@askdimitri.net and we will sort it out.
Chat content is not stored by AskDimitri. Profile and mailbag data are kept until you delete your account. Routine server logs at our providers may persist for short operational periods, and provider backups may take a short time to clear after deletion.
Users in the European Union have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data at any time. The profile tab covers correction, the Account tab covers deletion, and email covers everything else.
Only what is technically required to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
